Can you answer trababie2005’s question about Disabilities?:

If so what company should I use for private disability insurance?
TO gmaldonado537610 I HAVE A REAL JOB THAT DOES NOT OFFER DISABILITY INSURANCE!!! I WANT TO STAY HOME AND TAKE CARE OF MY BABY FOR THE FIRST FEW MONTHS OF LIFE. YOU ARE TOTALLY IGNORNAT.
Also, I dont mean after the baby is born, but get it now to claim when the baby is born.

Disabilities Feedback: Nope, insurance has to be purchased BEFORE the claim. That would be like buying life insurance after someone has died. You’re SOL.

Disabilities Feedback: Unfortunately not, we’re dealing with the same type of situation. You always need to get things like that before, and usually well in advance because some things like that don’t take effect until after you’ve had the policy for 90 days or something. But anything that is all ready listed in your medical chart is a pre-existing condition and won’t be covered. If you JUST found out your were pregnant and haven’t been to the Dr. yet you might have a slim chance.. but if your doctor all ready knows, then you’re unfortunately out of luck.

Disabilities Feedback: disability insurance? are you trying to claim that your disability is being pregnant?? If so, it won’t happen.
Since you have a job and I assume don’t have the medical insurance to pay for the expenses, try Medicaid. I don’t know how long it will take to go through the paperwork …

But unfortunately, if you have medical insurance and you got it after you were claimed to be pregnant, then it isn’t covered. More than likely, most medical insurances won’t even accept you if you have been diagnosed as being pregnant. Try medicaid is the only advice I can suggest.

Not to be funny - you can always marry a miltary man … most navy guys do that … they marry their girlfriends when they get her pregnant so she can be covered by his medical insurance.
