How can I volunteer my time to help the mentally handicapped? I just want to do something but I don’t really know where to go or who to talk to about anyone needing help. I want to just get involved, once every week or every odd week. I’m from Edmonton, Alberta in Canada.

thats in edmonton, call them, and ask what you can do.
Disabilities Feedback: I do not think that the term “mentally handicapped ” is PC at the moment , perhaps you need to work on that first.
