Disabilities Feedback: Only if you have the proper tag hanging from your zipper….

Disabilities Feedback: Yes. The law gives the disabled equal access to rest facilities, not better access.

Disabilities Feedback: Yes, legally you can go in there. If there is an option to use another stall, you should.

Disabilities Feedback: Yes but you have to have a handicapped person escort you.

Disabilities Feedback: As long as a handicapped person is not waiting to use it, yes, you can.

The difference with parking spaces is that the car is going to stay there for a long time. (Of course, depending on your digestive system, you may be in the stall for a while…)

Disabilities Feedback: Unless you see there is a handicapped person in the bathroom, it would be first come first serve. I really don’t think it is illegal

Disabilities Feedback: Yes you may use it; anyone can. The only law is that public buildings must provide handicapped facilities and access like ramps. Anyone can use a ramp and anyone can use a handicapped stall.

Disabilities Feedback: I use the handicapped stall all the time, because it’s bigger so when I put my backpack down, it’s less likely to be sitting in something nasty.
Cars can be parked in spots for hours and hours, which makes the spot useless. You’ll only be in that stall for two minutes, maybe less.
If there’s someone in a wheelchair right behind you in line, it’s polite to let them have the stall and wait for the next one to open up 10 seconds later.
If you’re in an empty bathroom, though, the chances of someone handicapped coming in and needing to go NOW are small enough that it doesn’t really matter.

Disabilities Feedback: you can use it.

but if it’s the only handicap stall available, and there’s someone who’s handicapped next in line one or two spaces, I’ll let them cut.

same for any stall when someone comes in with a little kid doing the “gotta go” dance.
